Dr. Pitt is a Board-Certified Fellow of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and his spine practice has focused on prevention, conservative medical management, and all surgical techniques available for the spine. He has provided care in the private practice sector of healthcare for over 25 years and has also worked as a clinical instructor of orthopaedics at the Center for Orthopaedic Spine Surgery previously at the University of Southern California early in his career.

Dr. Pitt has served as a Aerospace Medicine Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force Air National Guard and retired as a Lietenant Colonel. He served in support of combat search and rescue for the 129th Medical Group at Moffett Federal Airfield. During his military career, he served as Chairman of the Occupational Health Working Group, Chief of Professional Services (Chief of Staff), Medical Group Comander, and Chief of Aerospace Medicine.
Professional Athletic Consultant
Dr. Pitt has treated as either the team physician or consultant to several college and professional sports teams in the United States. For over a decade, he was one of the physicians for the Arizona State University Athletics department. He has also been a consultant to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Oakland A’s, Phoenix Suns, and San Francisco Giants.
